From November 2015 to Present (2 months) Brisbane, AustraliaClient Services @ The CFL team has provided the opportunity for extensive training in aspects of financial planning whilst the abundance of variety in the role allows me to constantly develop my skills through updating finance software with insurance renewal increases, distribution, maturity and redemption payments. My role also includes coordinating client’s in-specie transfers, including corporate and family trusts, and self-managed super funds. Another major responsibility includes reconciling assets against multiple platforms to ensure accuracy for reviews and statements of advice. It's also necessary I maintain up to date knowledge in FOFA legislation and compliance obligations to calculate accurate Fee Disclosure Statements for each client. My role includes liaising across multiple financial and insurance platforms such as Macquarie, Australian Money Market, IOOF and Wealth Portal, and often includes using these platforms to process accountant documentation requests. My responsibilities also include detail oriented customer support and involves managing client's change of details requests with multiple investment and insurance providers. From February 2014 to November 2015 (1 year 10 months) Brisbane, AustraliaOrganisational Development Intern @ Metro North Hospital and Health Service provides the full range of public sector health services including rural, regional and tertiary teaching hospitals. My role within the Organisational Development team was to coordinate the establishment of a HR Graduate Program within Metro North’s corporate office. My responsibilities included researching internal policy and procedures to align with Queensland Health, as well as formulating on-boarding and Graduate’s skills development through department rotations and socialisation tactics. My role also included reviewing policy and governance requirements for student placements. The success of my efforts resulted in the commencement of a 2016 HR Graduate Program within MNHHS. From August 2015 to October 2015 (3 months) Brisbane, AustraliaCorporate Receptionist @ Bentleys QLD, incorporating Bentleys Corporate Recovery in Brisbane and in Sydney, is the largest firm in the Bentleys Australia association. Bentleys provides accounting services, audit and assurance, business advisory, corporate recovery, financial planning, superannuation advice, trusts and estates planning, and taxation consulting. After my time in the HR department, I was asked to return as a full time temporary receptionist. Being the first point of contact for the company it was vital I incorporated the Bentleys image through professionally receiving clients and visitors, as well as taking and relaying accurate detailed messages through fast-paced switchboard management. My duties also included database entry of PAYG information, meeting room coordination and liaising with couriers and caterers. From September 2013 to October 2013 (2 months) Human Resources Intern @ Interning in the Human Resources Department has provided valuable insight and experience in firm-wide recruitment and selection strategies, including behavioural and video interviewing. I was given the opportunity to observe in the process of performance appraisals and assisted in talent mapping of employees within each division. My time was also spent on the HRIS system CONNX producing employee leave reports and becoming familiar with the system. Due to the recruitment process that was being undertaken at the time, I assisted in reference checking, employment contract preparation and also used social media to talent source.
