My experience in treasury operations led me to develop and utilize a perpetual licensing model with 18% support. This helped to reduce annual royalties by $10 million while expanding the quarter-year inventory by $1 million. Overall, I managed and led team of 25 analysts who scrutinized over $4 billion worth of financial reports. Through corporate financial analysis and strategic partnerships, I was able to achieve positive results for the company.In a role that focused on developing new pricing models, I helped to reduce sales costs by forming Aspen Telecommunications, LLC. This company was responsible for the Tri-State Telemarketing coalition, a nationwide high-powerCall center that provides customer service and MSO marketing services to Manhattans, West Virginias, and Florida locals. From this experience I learned that pricing is key to success and that important decisions have to be made quickly in order to maintain pricing flexibility. I also learned that it is essential to have young, energetic, and aggressive senior management who are willing to subordinate their own interests in order to achieve profitability.I also enjoyed working with the CEO and Executive Team to define and execute company business strategy and objectives. Our team believed that technology could be used to make our customers’ lives easier and we were able to experience significant success in this area. From a tactical standpoint, I directed all financial and administrative operations including financial reporting, planning, and analysis, treasury, legal and human resources functions while keeping Vail and its subsidiary profitable during the early stages of their development.In addition, from a financial standpoint I focused on developing new pricing models, improving budgeting, cutting costs and improving operating efficiency. This included developing and utilizing a perpetual licensing model with 18% support, cutting annual lease rates by renegotiating leasing and expansion contracts to minimize square footage costs while accommodating rapid business growth, orchestrating an accounting system conversion to SAP, and closing $21M equity investment led by Comcast Corporation and Cox Communications in Q3 2002.In the role of Director of FP&A, I orchestrated an accounting system conversion to SAP. This change improved the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting across the company. In addition, I developed cost-effective financial reporting methodologies which resulted in significant savings. As Director of FP&A, I led the charge to automate and optimize interactive television applications for the cable and satellite television industry.My experience at Comcast Cable from 2001 to 2002 (1 year) was Tremendous. I was able to manage a large budget, direct operational functions and grill top management on strategic and tactical issues.Customer service was a top priority for me and I ensured that Comcast remained a first-class customer service provider. I also led the charge to fleet modernize and expand the Comcast Cable Headquarters in Bellevue, WA.My experience at TV Works from 1999 to 2001 (2 years) was transformative. During my time at TV Works I was able to work with the CEO and Executive Team to define and execute company business strategy and objectives. I was also able to work hand-in-hand with the top management to fuel the development of within-company strategic plans.
