Vice President of Engineering @ Whether dealing with catastrophic conditions or every day operations, real-time access to information is key to making quick and informed decisions. LexRay gives you immediate and easy access to all of your current or custom applications, data and video – delivered to one common mobile platform.
LexRay’s unique ability to deliver all of your data applications to one single platform provides you with a portable operations center that has proven relevance in both the government and private sectors. Current or custom applications, building interfaces, HVAC systems, live or recorded video, video walls and more can be viewed from a single screen on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device – providing you access to any and all information relevant to your decision-making. From June 2015 to Present (7 months) Energetic Digital Services Executive @ I subscribe to the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) method of problem solving. In too many cases, overly elaborate Rube Goldberg-esque solutions are envisioned as a result of not understanding the root issue at hand. The best question you can ask yourself is: Why do I want to do this? I come in when that's a hard question to answer. From April 2015 to Present (9 months) Greater Chicago AreaSr. Vice President of Solutions @ As a Senior VP of Solution Architecture, I was responsible for the creative and technical solution design for all new engagements generated by Bridgeline. My team was responsible for meeting with both prospects and existing clients, documenting requirements and pain, crafting a solution, estimating the solution, creating a return on investment (ROI) analysis, presenting the solution (often to C-level individuals), and finally supporting engagements post sale to ensure its success. From April 2014 to April 2015 (1 year 1 month) Regional Vice President of Service Delivery @ I drove both the top and bottom lines for BLIN’s Boston, Chicago, and New York field offices. As Regional VP, I maintained direct management of Chicago while managing local leaders in Boston and New York. Additionally, I streamlined the three teams into one allowing for more efficient resource sharing and cross training opportunities. From May 2013 to April 2014 (1 year) Vice President of Delivery @ I directly managed resources across various delivery disciplines including Project Managers, User Experience Architects, Visual Designers, User Interface Developers, .NET Developers, Architects, and Quality Assurance Specialists. I was responsible for both top and bottom lines for the Chicago region and oversaw all aspects of BLIN Chicago engagements from initial sale, staffing of the appropriate team, delivery, quality assurance, deployment, and post launch support. From June 2010 to May 2013 (3 years) Senior Director of Architecture @ I directly supervised twelve development and technical resources as reports including seven in Bridgeline's wholly owned subsidiary in Bangalore, India. I led regular scrum sessions which were crucial for reviewing status updates and removing any impediments preventing goals from being reached. From November 2009 to June 2010 (8 months) Director of Architecture @ From January 2009 to November 2009 (11 months) Manager of Architecture @ When BLIN acquired PMS, I directly managed the development group in Chicago, leveraging shared resources for IT and SaaS deployment infrastructures. I transitioned my team from a collection of diverse programming skill-sets and backgrounds (Java, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby on Rails) to Microsoft .NET (C#) as a common platform for all new projects. From September 2007 to January 2009 (1 year 5 months) Director of Technology @ First as the Development Group Manager, then as the Director of Technology at Purple Monkey Studios, I was responsible for Purple Monkey's infrastructure, hosted solutions, development team, pre sales level of effort estimation, and proposal writing. I lead a team ranging from 6 to 20 developers and system administrators. Utilizing the best tool for the best job as consultants and system integrators demanded the ability to change directions and focus quickly to continue to drive multiple projects through to completion. From March 2005 to September 2007 (2 years 7 months) Senior Developer @ From May 2003 to March 2005 (1 year 11 months) Intern / Developer @ From December 2000 to May 2003 (2 years 6 months) Intern @ From May 2000 to December 2000 (8 months)
