Implemented primarily using a RESTful Microservice architecture with asynchronous event based collaboration, allowing for horizontal scalability of components to serve content responsively during periods of peak load. Electronic Assessment Organisation – A consulting engagement to provide an in depth assessment as to the viability of a Microservice architecture and the potential to horizontally scale an existing platform. Having accepted a contract with the a new client to handle a vast increase in the number of assessments to be conducted, analysis of the business problem and recommendations given were pivotal for the business going forward. Retail Organisation – Replacing a legacy Windows XP, Visual Basic and Microsoft Excel 2003 system to manage part of the business valued at 4 billion GBP. We built a robust, supportable and fault tolerant web application, which exposed REST endpoints to be consumed by a Microservice component. This component synchronised data to the legacy system allowing for an incremental approach to delivery.
