💼 Past Experience

Volunteering in 2002-2002:I was a volunteerinterpreter at the 2002 Winter Olympics in South Korea. I was a part of the team that helped translate the Olympicildaguard and all other sporting events. My experience with volunteering includes the implementation of value investing in real estate. My experience at National Capital Partners led me to developed the philosophy of “applied value investing”. Applied value investing is a investment philosophy that places a high emphasis on maximizing shareholder value. This approach is based on the fact that value is created when a company is able to efficiently and profitablely use its resources. I also worked out of MultiGreen Properties, an office development company. MultiGreen Properties was a part of the city of Salt Lake City which was the2002 Winter Olympics. I was responsible for authoring the city’s real estate plan and helping to develop the market for office space in the city.My experience as a volunteerinterpreter at the 2002 Winter Olympicsarused me with a wealth of knowledge about the industry. I was able to learn about the Olympic games, the city of Salt Lake City, and the real estate market. My experience as a volunteerinterpreter at the 2002 Winter Olympics gave me the skills that I would need in order to succeed as an investor. I was able to learn about the business side of the Olympics and the importance of marketing an event to the public. I was also able to learn about the value of resources and how to use them efficiently.

Randy Norton has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, including 10 years Managing Partner of Green Mesa Capital, where he focused on managing and developing real estate projects. He has also been chair of the Board at MultiGreen Properties where he was responsible for developing and managing the company’s real estate portfolio. Additionally, Randy has been a part of the advisory board of Lied Center for Real Estate Studies at UNLV Lee Business School and has been a Volunteer Representative in South Korea at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Randy was also an Associate Partner at National Capital Partners where he held various roles including Managing Partnership, Investment Banking, and Revenue/Investment. He left National Capital Partners in January 2008 to join Green Mesa Capital. There, Randy focuses on management and development of real estate projects. prior to joining Green Mesa Capital, Randy was a Staff Analyst at Daniels Capital Partners where he was responsible for performing economic and financial analysis on a variety of real estate projects. He also worked as an associate at Daniels Capital Partners, where he held a variety of management and investment roles. Randy has a degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah.
