His Extensive Travel and experience in Sales & business Development helped in partnering and growth of Modelama to an excess of 50 Million Dollars in 2006-7. He is a BTEC from De Montford University UK and has worked in Italy & the UK prior to his return to India. In addition to the above, he has completed a diploma in Succession Planning (IIM Ahmedabad).
His desire to enter the retail space in India let him to add Automobile's to the portfolio's of business's, he embarked on setting up a Dealership with His Brother Sanjeev for the leading Automobile company in India " Maruti Suzuki " It has been 3 years and the company – "Paramount Wheels" has scaled up to cross 100 crore of business. He continues to grow this business year on year and has set himself a mission to make it one of the Top Dealerships in the Western Region.
In the last few years, he has diversified his interests towards the Start up Eco System & has been playing a Key role in Funding the Start Ups through two of the leading Angel Platforms, The Indian Angel Network as well as Mumbai Angels.
Most Recently he participated in seed stage funding at AntFarm, a Mumbai based innovation sandbox promoted by serial entrepreneur Rishi Khiani. AntFarm's aim is to take a consistent line-up of game changing ideas and build them out into successful global companies. Some successful companies under AntFarm include Stylista.com, Fork Media, Arrive.com and ClickZoot a performance ad network. Upcoming ventures are in the health, entertainment and lifestyle domains. Rajeev serves on the investment advisory committee and also plays an active role mentoring the subsidiaries under AntFarm.
