I'm a very passionate web developer and I really like to learn and try new stuff. I've worked with several technologies since 2001 and in the last 4 years I've focused on Ruby and its eco-system. Also, I've a big experience orchestrating servers running on several hosting providers, including Rackspace and Amazon. Vnda is a SaaS e-commerce platform written completely in Ruby, using Rails, Sinatra and PostgreSQL. Vnda runs on a few EC2 instances on AWS and is built using GIT and automated tests. From February 2012 to January 2014 (2 years) Ruby Developer @ On my second time at BlockShopper, I was working remotely mostly on bug fixing and interface changes. One of them was crowd-funded through Catarse, the biggest crowdfunding site in Brazil. I also built small apps for some clients using Sinatra, Slim, TestUnit and MySQL. From February 2009 to June 2009 (5 months) Tech Lead @ Working mostly as tech lead, I also was responsible for the PHP framework used to build sites and hotsites. I also helped with internal infrastructure (network, file servers, etc). From April 2005 to June 2009 (4 years 3 months) Java Developer @ Development of financial software in Java and MS SQL Server, using CORBA to integrate client and server applications. Some of my responsabilities was keep system more eficient, optimizing performance.
