I am an experience designer with a specialism in branding, digital communications and editorial design. With a great interest in the overlapping of, and tensions between, art and design I lead every project from a fresh angle and unconventional approaches. At present I am a Lead Visual Designer at University of the Arts London (UAL) and in addition, I regularly work on freelance projects, as well as participating in social enterprises like Design for 99 or Salon Flux - Publishing and Archive (London, UK). Recent clients include: Museum of Modern Art Castilla y Leon (MUSAC), University for the Creative Arts (UCA) and a number of personal sites for creative creatures such Madeleine Boyd (set and costume designer) or Alfonso Borragan (Artist). My main areas of Production nowadays are: • Consultancy: brand guidance, digital product design, communications and UX strategy. • Digital Design: HTML/CSS, FTP tools, CMS environment, basic Javascript, Typography, concept development. • Graphic Design: Editorial, Pre&Post-Production, Colour Management, product campaigns, conception and proficiency dealing with suppliers and third party companies.Visual Designer @ Lead Visual Designer managing the visual language, UX design, product branding and internal communications of the University IT Services. In addition I contribute to the communications strategy of the Projects Management, I have to deal with different stakeholders and member of the management as well as making sure that the delivered products gets to the right standards of the University. Core duties: Team leader, UX support, UI Design, technical maintenance (Terminal 4 Site Manager, Eprints, Liferay, Marval and CampusM.) Design Consultancy in Digital Products and Brand Guidance for UAL staff & students along with planning internal communications campaigns.
