Technology executive with nearly 20 years of experience developing and deploying telephony and communications platforms. I started my career in tech at the age of 15 when I got my first job doing network operations and system development and never stopped learning.
I am currently the Cloud CTO at Aspect where I am responsible for the overall technology strategy, vision, research, development, delivery and operations of the Aspect cloud product suite.
Prior to Aspect I was the CTO of Voxeo Corporation where I was in charge of setting Voxeo's strategic technology direction along with overseeing the design and implementation of our products and cloud services. Under my technology leadership, Voxeo delivered the industry's leading Multi-tenant communications and IVR platform that was the core of our PaaS (Platform as a Service) and CaaS (Communications as a Service) solutions deployed in public, private and hybrid cloud environments. Our products and services were recognized by industry analysts such as Gartner, Forrester Research, Ovum and others as the market leading solution. We also developed a carrier/service provider cloud communications API platform that was spun off in 2012 as Voxeo Labs (later Tropo Inc).
Additionally I am the Chair of the W3C's Call Control Subgroup (Part of the Voice Browser Working Group) and was the Editor in Chief of the CCXML specification and have experience with other standards organizations such as the IETF and ECMA. I routinely speak at conferences about industry standards and technology trends.

Responsibilities included setting Voxeo's strategic technology direction, overseeing the design and implementation of our products and services and, leveraging our international development team (US, China, Germany, UK, Ukraine). I was also responsible for overseeing the technology M&A process for over 10 acquisitions at Voxeo and assisting in the formation and spin off of Voxeo Labs (Later Tropo Inc) in 2012.
Voxeo was acquired by Aspect in 2013 for $150M as the foundation of their cloud strategy. I was intimately involved in the entire M&A process from banker selection, management presentations, technology diligence as well as merger agreement drafting and negotiation strategy along side our external advisors and executive management team. From June 2000 to July 2013 (13 years 2 months) Orlando, Florida AreaSenior Consultant @ I started at Quality Call Solutions after finishing high school at the age of 15. I was quickly able to learn the company's products and technologies and within a few months started leading customer projects for companies such as NYNEX (Verizon), Household Credit (HSBC), and Merrill Lynch. As the company grew I took over operations of the the customer support team and became involved as the companies principal consultant for QCS's most critical accounts.
