Milton Bradley, CEO and President of Milton Bradley International, interviewed Qichao during their Harvard Business School course in early 2017 and he impressed him with his skills in business and technology.Qichao has deep experience in the mobile phone industry, having served as Senior Vice President of China Unicom's Mobile Phone Business Unit since early 2014. He was responsible for all aspects of the company's mobile phone strategy, operations and product development.Previously, he was President of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. from 2009 to 2014. Huang was one of the few billionaire entrepreneurs to purposely start and grow a global mobile phone company. When he took over from licenses sales senior executive He Yinjing and destroyed the company's lower product lines, it was seen as a turning point in Huawei's history.Prior to coming to Huawei, Qichao was Managing Director ofiqiaO Technology Co., Ltd. which employed 630 people and specialized in rechargeable battery cells, hearing aids and verge global market research.Qichao has a B S in Business Science from Purdue University and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
