Previously Creative Uncle provided creative service for Jellyfish's campaign sites as well as managing their external clients. Creative Uncle was an integrated design and digital communication agency and worked with several large brands including Virgin Holidays and Skype. I was transferred to the creative and development team shortly after the company merge. My role at this team involves heavily on front end development work. My main responsibilities were: • Maintain existing websites • Build new websites following technical specification and approved visuals. Majority of client websites were built using Concrete5 (CMS) and a small minority are built using other frameworks or no framework. • Advice designers on the feasibility of their design From October 2010 to October 2012 (2 years 1 month) Junior Developer @ Jellyfish is the UK's leading agency dedicated to paid search. Jellyfish has worked with many known brands including Skype, Waitrose, BBC and Dennis Publishing. As well as paid search marketing, they also offer creative and development on campaign sites. Jellyfish had an in house platform used by account managers to manage their campaign and to view sales and search engine reports regularly. Jellyfish gave me the opportunity to start my career path in the web industry. I worked among a team of other developers to build and maintain their systems. I was regularly involved in the front end development of their main platform, and I work very closely with the business to provide an easy to use interface for the users. We used jQuery heavily to produce interactive user experience across the platform. The Jellyfish development team used the Agile methodology and more specifically, the Scrum framework. All developers took part in the Scrum process regularly, including daily progress report, planning, estimating and tasking up user stories.
