Qi Zhang is currently a third-year student at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Qi Zhang is majoring in Computer Science and has the option to Minor in Software Engineering or Departmental field at Tsinghua University.Qi Zhang started his academic career in 2004 as a Purdue-trained Computer Science major at Tsinghua University. He then moved to University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia as a Master, Computer and Information Science major in 2008. Qi Zhang's research focuses on developing metal-oxide-semiconductor solar cells and other heterojunction solar Cells.Since starting his academic career, Qi Zhang has won many Awards and Prize from his peers and universities. He has participated in several international Conference and Meeting and has developed close collaborative relationships with his peers. Qi Zhang has played an active role inian advising the student groups at Tsinghua University, and is currently Chair of the Committee on Collegiate Studies at Tsinghua University. In January 2019, Qi Zhang was elected as a fellow of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
