💼 Past Experience

When Prof. Arlt started her academic career at the University of the Fraser Valley in 2002, she quickly rose through the ranks. She was elected to the Academic board in 2003 and then to the teaching team in 2004. In 2006, she assumed the position of Director of the COTRI China Outbound Tourism Research Institute. From 2002 to 2019, she was a Founding Dean of the HATT Business School Institute at HATT Business School Institute. In January 2019, Prof. Arlt was appointed as a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. She is also a Member of the Tourism Experts Panel at the World Tourism Organization from January 2017 to January 2021.
