Priya Mishra is from a well-educated family. Her father is a doctor and her mother has a degree in Political Science. Priya has always been simmering with an abiding desire to join a prestigious college. She first mooted for admissions for one year in a propaganda class in secondary school. A few years later, she applied for an admissions test for a prestigious college, Indian Institute of Planning and Management, also in Secondary school. Priya was successful in both the tests. After successful completion of her studies at I.I.P.M., Priya began her professional career as a Management Trainee at a top Mumbai-based company. She completed her training and subsequent promotions in the company. In her early years in the corporate world, she excelled in interactive management, problem solving and decision making. She kept herself well-oiled by learning agility and burning the midnight oil on team projects. Priya is now a manager in her own right and also works as a commentator and information importer in several Indian companies. Her commentary and insights on business have been well-received and have helped her develop a strong platform from where she can speak with authority to share her insights with a wider audience. She has also started her own business, which sells eco-friendly German home appliances.

From February 2010 to March 2014, Priya Mishra was a Manager - Delivery and Operations Gulf at NTT DATA Services. Priya was responsible for all aspects of the company's delivery and operations, including human resources, contracting, and supply chainmanagement. In this role, she worked directly with managers and chefs to ensure that NTT DATA Services' projects were on schedule, and that all stakeholders were satisfied with the product. In addition to this, Priya was also responsible for developing and implementing company policies and procedures.
