💼 Past Experience

Pradeep Menon, who has more than 10 years of experience in the field of risk management, says the trend in Indian companies these days is for risk reduction, not just risk escalation. "However, in order to achieve this deterrence, it is important to have a core understanding of what is driving the risk, and nascent technologies and threats need to be assessed analytically," Menon says.In his previous work experience, Menon has directed various risk management teams at physical companies like Fuji Film in Japan, Alexion in the US, and Shandong Lianhe among others. In his current role, Menon is heading the Quadrant Risk Management Facility of Zacco - Digital TrustIndustry of Information Services, Pune, India. Menon has a B.Sc in Economics from the University of Mumbai and a Diploma in Computer Science and Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in 1993.From the time he left school, Menon has been working in information technology. He started his career with Indian website builder Tigerdirect in 1999. He then worked with several Infosys subsidiaries before joining Infosys Brazil as a senior vice president and risk and compliance manager for the Infosys India Private Limited subsidiary from 2006 to 2007. Menon then served as the head of risk management at Shandong Lianhe Information Technology Co. Ltd from 2009 to 2011 and as the deputy CEO of the company from 2011 to 2013. He then joined Zacco - Digital TrustIndustry of Information Services as Director from April 2007."While my experience in risk management and information security have given me a goodbase for the job of Director at Quadrant, I am also well-equipped with other skills and knowledge that I could bring to the team," Menon says.In his spare time, Menon likes to play blues,interests include reading and fencing.

Prior to that, he worked at Infosys Pte Ltd as a Solutions Architect from 2001 to 2003 and then as a Manager from 2003 to 2006. He also worked at Wipro as a Developer from 2006 to2007 and then at TCS Limited from 2007 to2009. In 2008, he started working at own brand company Zacco - Digital TrustIndustry of Information Services (DTSI) where he served as a Manager from 2008 to2011 and as a Director from 2011 to2014. He has also been a member of working group at IEEE P24 from 2007 to2011 and a reviewer for several cybersecurityrelated conferences such as the IEEE Conferences on Banking and Telecommunications (BCT) and the IEEE Conferences on Security and Privacy (SCP) where he has also given presentations on various aspects of digital security.
