Communication Coordinator @ Operative in the deep rural villages, the ICICI Rural Self Employment Training Institutes bring skill training to the most vulnerable groups in Udaipur and Jodhpur. Within six months of joining I successfully created the logo, branding and defined the rules for all creative material printed by the institute. My role involves routinely interacting with hundreds of successful entrepreneurs, employers, government officials and create a synergy between them through creative mediums. I like to drive design rich, low cost communication solutions. One of the coolest things about my job is that I get to plan and implement the communication strategy that focusses on the holistic development of rural unemployed youth. The other one, is getting to work with an amazing team of people devoted to their cause. I collaborate with Human Resources, Training Teams and senior management team based in Mumbai and ensure that our messages are genuine, accurate and personalised to the needs of our stakeholders. I believe in integrating communications throughout the organisation so everyone is on board. I am also responsible for the providing the information, content and data of RSETIs meant for publishing in the Annual Reports of ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth, as well as designing, writing and publication of the Annual Reports and Quarterly Newsletters for the institutes. Needless to say, my work has kept me on my toes for many sleepless nights and provided the content for the most creative dreams. I do not like downtime for ideas, I speak fluent agency lingo and am a strong proponent for execution. While travelling the vast expanses of Udaipur and Jodhpur, I have seen the most amazing and stark landscapes, been inspired by hundreds of stories of our trainees and downed an unreasonable amount of chhach.
