Responsible for the day-to-day running of the consumer PR department within the agency, managing a team of six. Press release writing and generating a constant flow of worthy news. Complete responsibility for consumer accounts including ABSOLUT VODKA and ICEHOTEL. Responsible for the development and implementation of consumer PR strategies. Producing a constant flow of newsworthy press and distributed to appropriate media accordingly. Co-ordinated the creation and development of the JCB DIESELMAX project/media website which included creating all content, vodcasts, blogs and video footage. Developed and executed a comprehensive internal communications programme which was delivered to an internal audience of 8,000 people. Developed a comprehensive media trip to the Bonneville Salt Flats (UTAH) for 50 key global journalists. Personal responsibility for programme content and messaging. Assisted with the creation and implementation of PR tool kits for local European markets. Responsible for a PR budget of £1.6 million.
