Project Manager (Contract) @ Project Manager contracted to manage an FCA Technology Remediation project which consists of nine distinct Workstreams. Key deliverables include technical solutions relating to compliance tooling, automation, access reporting, database security and Server O/S upgrades. In addition, management of SME resources responsible for documentation enhancement activities relating to critical policies and procedures, implementation of an appropriate document repository solution and analysis of file shares environments and role details. From November 2015 to Present (2 months) Nottingham, United KingdomProject Manager (Contract) @ Project Manager originally contracted to restart a critical but stalled IT Workstream that urgently needed to be progressed as part of a large, £multimillion, global outsourcing Programme. Detailed analysis and the successful management of a 3rd party provider allowed wider Programme activities to progress in line with the overall timescales.
In addition to the above, I also successfully managed an additional Programme Workstream responsible for implementing the required SIAM functionality (Service Integration and Management) necessary to operate IT services post transition to newly appointed 3rd party Service Providers. Key deliverables included the development, testing and deployment of software solutions which would be adopted by all material third party providers, definition and design of common IT processes with Business owners, classification of required SLA's / KPI's and Service Provider integration.
Lastly I was appointed as Project Manager for the HR / People Workstream responsible for multiple key 'People' deliverables including the definition and delivery of an approved Organisational Design (OD), job mapping activities and the management of global consultation activities within TNT and 3rd party Service Providers (HP, Verizon and Infosys) following relevant UK and / or local 'in country' legal legislation. From January 2014 to August 2015 (1 year 8 months) IT Project Manager @ IT Project Manager currently working on a large, time critical and complex IT outsourcing Programme, migrating existing services from IBM & BT to Indian based HCL.
Key responsibilities include the design and implementation of both an Offshore Management Centre (OMC) and Service Desk environments, Lotus Notes and BlackBerry migration activities and the delivery of a new document repository solution. Delivery of software solutions including a new Identity Management system, Incident / Change & IT request solutions, CMDB and additional tools to support enhanced MI and reporting capabilities for both IT and the wider organisation. Design and implementation of a Service Assurance Framework (SAF) to ensure all appropriate processes and procedures are considered and the management of the required knowledge transfer activities between the existing IT incumbents and HCL. Implementation of ITIL based processes including Incident, Change and Problem management.
Working closely, both in the UK and India with multiple stakeholders including Service Delivery, Project sponsors and relevant business contacts along with Programme and Director level colleagues.
