💼 Past Experience

Peter van der Sman has been involved in the management of companies since he was a young man. Having started at the age of 20 working at his father's business - a printing company - van der Sman quickly rose through the ranks and within few years had become the Managing Director. He then took on the role of project manager at a small company before joining Symoma, a Dutch brewing company, in March 1983. There, he completed a variety of responsible roles until he became Marketing Manager in October 1982.In January 1971, van de Sman took over as Senior Consultant/Coach at the CBI Centre for the Promotion of Imports, a foreign policy research institute. He remained at the institute until September 1989 when he was appointed CEO of CoSourcers. There he led the company until he resigned in January 2016.Outside of his work, van der Sman enjoys spending time with his wife, children and dogs. He is also an amateur cyclist and squirrel catcher.

Peter van der Sman is a Dutch diplomate and German conference speaker with a background in education, business administration, and communication. Van der Sman started his education at the Academy of BK & TW in the Netherlands. He studied business administration, which gave him a strong grounding in spreading knowledge, managing teams, and leadership. Van der Sman then moved on to study at theVMTO/UTO Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Here, he completed a course in business administration, which gave him a wealth of knowledge in the industry. Van der Sman then moved on to study at the MULO + Handelsavondschool in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Here, he completed a course in communication, which gave him a strong foundation in the industry. Van der Sman is currently a Diplomate inAudiology, Dutch.
