From its inception, Advantix Digital was a driving force behind the growth of the Dallas Marathon and its City ofChange program. They continue to be a driving force in the digital marketing industry and now own and operate America’s largest radio brokerage and advisory company, Star Media Group.

He was promoted to software engineer in charge of the Sound Division and then to senior software engineer in charge of the Macintosh operating system. He then left Apple to become the CEO of Star Media Group in 1995. He was named executive chairman of Star Media Group in 2006.He has also been a founder, CEO or Managing Director at USroadsports from 2007 to 2014. USroadsports is a holding company that owns and operates marathons and half marathons throughout the United States.Handy is married to the woman he married in 1984. They have two children.
