💼 Past Experience

Pete Morris had an experience working in the field of program management. Paul Morris, who is the father of Pete Morris, Bagpipes, and Pat Morris, has been a crucial part of the Morris family enterprises for many years. When Pete Morris was five, his father got him a Terradisk for Christmas. This gave him his first experience in programming. It was from this that he developed his ability to manage software projects. He was later reacquainted with the program management tool and began to use it in his work. In 1990, he moved to Massachusetts to work as a software development manager at Northrop Grumman. At Northrop Grumman, he was responsible for developing and managing software projects. He also had a chance to work withchinaware tools, such as the SWT and Java tools. From Northrop Grumman, he moved on to Trandes Corporation. At Trandes Corporation, he was responsible for programs management and program analysis. At Trandes Corporation, he also worked on work that included developing information systems and software. In September 1996, he moved to Fidelity National Information Services (FIS), where he worked for four years. During this time, he was responsible for programs management, project management, and engineering projects. In 2001, he joined Government Marketing Group (GMG), Inc. as a project manager. There, he was responsible for developing and managing software projects for the company. He received hisCertificate of Competency in Project Management from GMG in 2003. At GMG, he also completed an engineering program, which gave him experience in program management and engineering. He then went on to work at IIT Research Institute from January 1979 to January 1996. At IIT Research Institute, he was responsible for developing and managing software projects. While at IIT Research Institute, he also worked on projects that involved chinaware tools, such as the SWT and Java tools. Then, in June 2003, he moved to ALLTEL Information Systems. At ALLTEL Information Systems, he was responsible for programs management, project management, engineering projects, and project management software. In October 2005, he left ALLTEL Information Systems to begin working at USAA. There, he is responsible for programs management, project management, engineering projects, and customer service. In February 2005, he joined Trandes Corporation as a senior technical project manager. There, he is responsible for developing and managing software projects, as well as project management and engineering projects. In April 2005, he left Trandes Corporation to start working at USAA. There, he is responsible for programs management, project management, engineering projects, and customer service.

Pete Morris has a BSc Engineering Management from the University of South Florida, where he studied engineering. Morris then did a BSEEEngineering from the University of South Florida, and obtained a Professional Certification from Project Management Institute in January 2014. Morris then went on to work at San Diego State University-California State University from January 2014 to January 2023, where he developed Project Management Certifications.
