From September 2012 to December 2012 (4 months) San Francisco Bay AreaLead Intern & Software Engineering Intern (Storage Availability and Management Group) @ • Led 33 interns from various parts of the company throughout their summer internship, communicating their needs and complaints to the University Relations team. • Planned/Promoted company sponsored networking events for Bay Area interns (50+ interns). • Developed several proof of concepts (POC’s) integrating Veritas File System (VxFS) deduplication engine with LevelDB, Kyoto Cabinet, Tokyo Cabinet, and Berkeley DB. • Performed comparison tests of the POC’s against the currently deployed solution. • Wrote a whitepaper describing findings and architecture of a next-generation deduplication database.
