Both during my study and the majority of work experience, I have focused on analyzing consumer behaviour. At university I already chose to specialize in both discrete econometrics (also known as micro econometrics) and time series analysis with multivariate statistics, which is often applied in segmentation and profiling, as a favorite optional course. I do have a strong preference and interest in developing models, analyzing consumer behaviour and working with large datasets. Ideally I'd like to perform and translate analytics into real life applications!
In my spare time I like to practise sports, travel or combine the two. I have traveled to all corners of the world, including skiing on all continents. Besides sports I can also really enjoy adventure in general, listening to some nice live music or trying exotic restaurants. You can read more about my adventures on www.polhovsky.com.
