📖 Summary
* I AM NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING WORK * I'm a front-end and mobile developer with the experience to develop high quality, performant software on a variety of devices, in the form of responsive multi-platform websites, mobile web apps, hybrid apps or Titanium-based native apps. In the past I have developed mobile offerings across a range of platforms, working alongside back-end, UX and design teams to produce well-built, technically complex oAuth protected, REST API-driven products that have a reach of millions of international users, based on a solid UX-led foundation. In 2014 I started a new venture in order to provide businesses both in the UK and worldwide with development and consultancy expertise in the front-end and mobile spheres. Firehive Ltd can help with both short-term and long-term contracts that require knowledge and experience of javascript, HTML, CSS and mobile development. I can also help with: * Taking your business' or clients' websites responsive * Front-end development best-practice * Hybrid application development * Developer tooling and more. I make sure to stay abreast of the ever-changing environment of pertinent technologies and am accomplished in the use of Backbone.js (incl. Marionette.js, Underscore, and Handlebars templating), responsive CSS (including Sass and grid frameworks), the Appcelerator Titanium development environment, the Grunt build system and others. I also have experience of in-house training, bringing teams of up to 20 developers at a time up to scratch on vanilla Javascript, libraries and tooling, as well as strong client-facing communication skills, design and UI skills. Being a mobile app developer, I too am of course very well versed in the management and deployment of apps to iTunes Connect and the Google Play Store. I love to throw myself into my working environment and, as a contractor and consultant, to leave a lasting impression in terms of process, tooling and skills.Front-end and Mobile Developer / Consultant / Director @ In June 2014 I launched my own limited company, Firehive Ltd, and I am now contracting for businesses in the UK and worldwide that benefit from my years of expertise in the front-end and mobile realm.
