Dzurovcik graduated from college in 1992 with a degree in computer science and then served as a research scientist at Mercantile National Bank of Indiana from 1991 to 2004. He then moved to BMO Harris Bank / BMO Financial Group where he was the CIO - US Corporate Technology from June 2016 to July 2019. In his previous roles, Dzurovcik has been responsible for technology governance, delivery, and strategy for US CIO Offices around the country. He also manages multiple development teams that are accountable for on-time, on-budget delivery of quality solutions which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of applications to ensure and/or maintain alignment with IT strategies from multiple LOBs, and adhering to standards, such as Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). He has also provided solutions to complex technical issues to ensure the optimal solution is recommended to the Technology Relationship Manager and business partners.

He then worked at Motorola Solutions, where he coordinated technology projects for various pharma clients. In 2002, Dzurovcik relocated to Chicago and started his own software consulting company, Dzurovcik & Associates. While at Dzurovcik & Associates, he developed a number of innovative products and strategies for his clients and also gained experience in strategic information technology leadership. In 2007, Dzurovcik moved to Harris Bank, and worked as the Vice President of MIS at Harris Bank. From there, he transferred to Mercury National Bank of Indiana as Vice President of Information Technology and Operations.In July of 2019, Dzurovcik tookover the role of CIO at BMO Harris Bank and Financial Group. While at BMO Harris Bank and Financial Group, he will be responsible for overseeing the companys technology strategy, economic stability, and regulatory compliance. In his previous roles, Paul Dzurovcik has delivered on his promises to prioritize technology development for multiple initiatives, while also maintaining defined service levels and technical stewardship over platform applications. He is a thought leader who brings innovative, external best practice ideas to all areas of the IT team and is known for his customer service mindedness.
