VP APAC Sales & Customer Success @ I am responsible for helping our customers realize the huge business benefit that mobility and mobility application usage can create. We do this by ensuring easy adoption whilst also providing the highest level of security to our customers. From September 2015 to Present (3 months) VP Sales @ Head Of Sales for APAC, running an Enterpirse Sales Team of 70 people. Leading the transformation of the company into a market leading SAAS company in the Virtual Meeting space. Leading GTM of our recently launched Web and Desktop Video Cloud based solutions to market. From July 2008 to Present (7 years 5 months) Sales Director @ Responsibility for an annual sales target of $130m per annum, managing the go to market strategy and execution of this strategy through 6 state managers, 35 sales personnel plus matrixed responsibility for a further 80 sales and technical resources.
Over the past two years I have been responsible for integrating the Symantec and Veritas business. This was the second largest software merger in Australian history, second only to the PeopleSoft Oracle merger.
2005-2008 Focus Areas
Investment in Front Line Management: In order for the management team to keep pace with the changing business, it was essential that the six state managers underwent a Leadership Development Program. I worked with an outside agency to formulate a twelve-month program to enhance the management skill set of the front line management team.
Large Deal Innovation: ANZ had become the thought leader in large deal innovation with 80% of all deals over 1M$ generated out of the ANZ Sales Force. In order to maintain this position implementing a knowledge transfer program amongst key account managers and TAS Strategic Planning Disciplines was essential.
Ensure ANZ had the best Mid Market Strategy in the World. To ensure Symantec could reach into the mid market they needed to improve the level of engagement with partners to ensure economies of scale. With this in mind I put together a new Mid Market Team who had the skills to operate as a virtual sales manager within the partner community. The business generated from this team grew from 8M to 12M in the first year of implementation.
