📖 Summary
Customer Service Representative & Dispatcher @ Cornerstone Aviation From August 2008 to February 2009 (7 months) Greater Salt Lake City AreaFlight Operations Specialist @ Sentient Jet Sentient Jet provided an opportunity to fine tune my operational based skill set accrued from my undergraduate education and previous work experience at Delta Air Lines and Cornerstone Aviation. As an Operations Specialist, my focus is to proactively communicate with flight crews, aircraft dispatchers, airport personnel, and in-house Sentient Jet staff to ensure the efficiency of all flight activity. As many know, the private aviation world may change at an instant and conflicts stemming from aircraft mechanical's, hazardous weather, or airport operations are frequent. Effectively dealing with each related issue (or several at once), proves challenging and this position provided me with the ability to prioritize a demanding workload, remain organized, and effectively communicate in high pressure situations. Key Highlights:• Responsible for completing a comprehensive checklist called the “Daily Flight Review” to ensure all company and client prerequisites have been met prior to each flight. (Weather, NOTAMS, Client Profile, Aircraft Type, Crew Trip Cheq, Intended Route, Preferred FBO’s, Customs/Immigration, Catering, Ground Transportation, Company Gifting, Special Requests)• Monitor all flight activity with upwards of 120 “live” legs per day. • Proactively solve issues related to airport delay’s, NOTAMS, weather, and TFR’s through oversight of Sentient’s flight schedule, NOAA, and the FAA’s National Airspace System (OIS) site. From June 2013 to September 2014 (1 year 4 months) Braintree, MassachusettsIntern @ Delta Air Lines • Oversight of flight operations. • Assisting chief pilots and chief pilots assistant on day to day operations• Attending company and airport meetings.• Responsible for distribution of all company flight manuals and publications.• Utilized Delta specific software. From August 2011 to January 2012 (6 months) Greater Salt Lake City AreaSenior Executive Account Manager @ Private Jet Services Group Consult and manage an exclusive book of business – ranging from high net-worth executive travelers to infamous rock bands and professional sports teams. Directly reporting to the CEO on behalf of his accounts, this role requires a diversified skill set within the areas of business development, contract negotiation, customer resource management (Salesforce), flight operations, and an proficient understanding of the CFR § Part 121 and 135 regulations. The ability to work quickly is key but remaining detail oriented with a positive attitude is of utmost importance. Key Highlights:• Generate proposals in response to bids and RFP’s which outline customized solutions to include several successful programs for Corporate Shuttles, Jet Card, long-term fixed rate plans, and international sporting events valuing above 2.79 million (USD) in gross revenue.• Created and developed a Junior Leadership team to encourage collaboration from the “bottom-up” to enhance work life culture, empower PJS employees, and formulate solutions to become more efficient and effective.• Working alongside the Director of Safety & Innovation, Director of Executive Aircraft Operations, Chief Revenue Officer, and Chief Executive Officer, I assisted with the develop and implementation of new flight operation procedures which have increased safety, streamlined company workflow, and furthered overall client satisfaction. • Assisted our technology department and web developers to create an in-house platform to store client and vendor data to enhance company efficiency.
