His work focuses on finding solutions to make cities more inclusive, and their inhabitants more resilient and prosperous.
He has a diverse background in strategy consulting, academia, and high-growth start-up ventures, and significant experience as an economist addressing important issues in global energy, environmental markets, and sustainable development. International experience focused on emerging markets throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Previously, Dr. Ahoobim was a Director at Frontier Strategy Group in Washington DC and New York, and an Associate at Mercer Management Consulting in San Francisco. He holds a BA, MA, and PhD in Economics from Stanford University, where he also served as an Instructor of Economics and Mathematics. His doctoral research focused on the technology, economics and market dynamics of renewable energy.
