Omer A Fareed is a paleo nutritionist and educational criminologist currently studying at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, United Kingdom.A Fareed grew up in a biblical Zionist household in south Tel Aviv, Israel. He has a B.A. in Business Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a M.A. in criminology from SOAS.A Fareed's criminal background and education:A Fareed has a criminal background that includes convictions for fraud, breach of trust, and an unsuccessful bid to buy a stake in a small local business.He has extensive experience in educational criminology and has completed a number ofFurther study in the area at SOAS, including a B.A. in Criminology and Regulation from the University of Surrey in 2014. There he also studied UVic’s Master of Education in Criminology and Criminology Innovation from the University of Victoria, Canada.A Fareed has worked in the criminal justice sector for over two decades, most notably as a detective sergeant with the Tel Aviv District Police officer for crime prevention and suppression. Additionally, he has worked as a criminology lecturer and research fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.He currently spends his time at SOAS, researching criminology educational interventions and working on a number of criminology research projects.
