Using the logic model framework, the CommuInfo platform allows nonprofit organizations to: (1) present their performance results, such as program impacts and outcomes, through data visualization; (2) promote programs and initiatives; (3) add volunteering and event opportunities; (4) create organizational profiles with key leadership information; and (5) upload vital documents, such as 990s, annual reports, and program summaries, making them easily accessible to a wide audience. From January 2015 to May 2018 (3 years 5 months) Reston, VADevOps Engineer @ QVC Key Responsibilities:• Streamlined the Build & Deploy Process & proposed & implemented a POC for transitioning to a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery process.• Introduced and Implemented Artifactory Pro, after evaluating it against Nexus, making it a company-wide binary repository for storing build artifacts.•Evaluated Sonar for better code quality analysis and integrated it with Jenkins and a build breaker plugin to fail the build if Sonar code review didn’t pass the set rules.• Captured the creation of (SonarQube and Artifactory) server, changed its default database to MYSQL and later used the Puppet manifest to install and monitor those servers.• Upgraded the existing Artifactory server to make it a highly available Enterprise Artifactory cluster to facilitate demands by teams across different continents.• Wrote multiple scripts using (jq, shell, & Artifactory’s REST API) to obtain specific build artifact from Artifactory using it’s SHA256 checksum value and later helped convert it to an internal Jenkins plugin.• Edited maven mirror settings to configure Artifactory as the central repository for dependency management and resolution.• Created Parent POM to be used throughout the company and introduced rules to prevent common errors teams make while writing pom files for their project.• Created a custom config.xml for jobs to be run by Jenkins which was later automated using puppet to take required variables from a WebApp and create Docker containers for running production like Jenkins environments for the teams to test their jobs.• Helped more than 10 teams transition from single build-deploy jobs to adapt to a continuous integration process by chaining multiple jobs using the build pipeline plugin.• Integrated Mesos Slaves to Jenkins master to use it as an on-demand slave.• Prepared documentations surrounding the end-to-end continuous integration/delivery pipeline.• Researched various tools for log monitoring such as Hadoop, Splunk, and ELK From October 2014 to April 2016 (1 year 7 months) Greater Philadelphia AreaFounder @ TechNepal https://technepal.iohttps://forum.technepal.ioTech Nepal is a news curation portal.
