His most recent book is the title “The development process of the European Union: a legal analysis” which is published by Routledge.Niels Lunde has been a member of the academic board of the European Political Economy Association since 2006. He is also a member of the editorial board of the book series “ Forum” and of the journal “ European Affairs”.Niels Lunde is currently a visiting professor at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. He has also been a visiting professor at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and the University of Rostock in Germany.Niels Lunde also works as a research fellow at the Jönköping School of Economics in Sweden.Niels Lunde has made many contributions to his country's political life. He has been a member of the board of the newly created board of advisors to the government of Sweden, since 2006. He is also the chairwoman of the board of advisors to the government of Sweden's development package.
