💼 Past Experience

pursuing a degree in law, Nicolas Angelet studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Strasbourg in 1998, he passed the bar examination and took up a legal position with the prestigious law firm Beugnier, where he worked for six years. He then moved to the appointed consultancy firm Gibson Dunn, where he worked for five years. From there, he took up a position as an examiner at the ICSID Panel of Conciliators and Arbitrators, before becoming a full-time professor at the University of Brussels in 1998. In October 2018, he was appointed Professor of public international law at the University of Brussels (ULB).
