Product Operations work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to surface, prioritize, test, rollout and iterate on products. Within Product Operations I sit embedded within the product teams and am the operation lead for defining strategy, setting business priority, and ensuring global scale of rider-facing products.Deliverables of my role include:• Define the operating structure and processes to implement on product strategy• Lead a community of strategic leaders to encourage meaningful impact to the business• Maintain regular communications with key stakeholders across the org• Ensure functional stakeholders are aligned on key objectives for the program / product• Advise product teams on the global feasibility of products throughout the product lifecycle• Develop an end-to-end product rollout plan, and project-manage implementation• Collaborate with key stakeholders (legal, tax, policy, support etc) to prepare product for launch• Track core business metrics related to the product• Identify key problem areas and/or geographies impacted by the product post-launch• Surface and advocate for key insights from the business to inform product improvements Seattle, WATeam Lead - Vendor Operations at Zulily Inc. @ zulily As a vendor manager I partner with vendors in managing the inbound transportation of merchandise to multiple fulfillment centers. Responsibilities also include daily analysis and management of inventory movement and adjustments at our multiple fulfillment centers. My role combines account management, inventory management, compliance, supply chain management and business operations. Responsibilities Include: - Operational management of 150+ vendors/month- Daily analysis and management of 1,000+ individual sku’s of on hand inventory (100,000+ units managed on quarterly basis)- Responsible for inbound management of 250,000+ units/quarter- Placed average of 400+ purchase orders on a monthly basis- Responsible of our roughly 50 “strategic” accounts, which we partnered with to design and manufacture apparel around our best selling products. - Develop internal relationships with cross-functional partners including accounts payable, merchandising/buying department, customer service team, executive team, studio operations, and warehouse partners Special Projects Include: EDI Integration –Operations lead for EDI integration and platform build out. I worked directly with our technology project manager to oversee the operational design of our EDI interface. I also created companywide EDI guideline document.Manufacturing Operations Process Development – As the only operations contact for the manufacturing process, I partnered with our merchandising and production team to design, refine, and implement the entire operations process for our international manufacturing process. From March 2011 to March 2015 (4 years 1 month) Seattle, WASales Intern @ KIRO Television Summer 2009 National Edward R. Murrow award recipient for overall excellence; Assisted in the selling of advertisement space for the Seattle based CBS affiliate. -Worked directly with advertisers on various placements, as well as the design of the advertisements that appeared on television, as well as KIRO's website.-Created & updated sales proposals and client recaps.-Assisted in ensuring and verifying client's advertisements reached correct target market.
