Remember when being a Digital Marketing Strategist meant that you just set up company Facebook pages for local businesses? I'm pretty sure my mum still thinks that I do that all day..
Being a great Producer and Strategist is so much more than just lining up Tweets at a dog-friendly agency, though. I mean, we could chat about how I can use my internet wizardry to get your business conveniently into the buyer’s path at exactly the right moment using research, ideas and unicorn power. Or maybe how I could help you to determine your business goals to get an understanding of the needs of your customers at all of the different stages of their decision-making process. Maybe you even write the strategy and outline the recommended activities to get us there. Such exciting! Many awesome!
Like most digital marketers, I like to spend my free time visiting other marketers’ blogs. I get over-excited over a everything that's happening online that most “normal” people don’t have a clue about \ or a care about like angry Tweets and this year's Pantone colour. It's super-important to keep up with the latest tech trends, so you'll either find me up late stalking the depths of Reddit or getting up early to sink long blacks whilst I consume Medium, Mashable and Smashing Mag before work.
My niche area of expertise is creating strategic online plans for sport & fitness brands. With a Marketing degree and a Sports Science degree under my belt, I understand the psychology of a sports/fitness consumer completely. This is backed up by my experience working on accounts for major sports teams and stadiums, market research in the sport and entertainment industries, marketing and communications experience with a major fitness brand and being a qualified Personal Trainer.
I'm also a passionate social entrepreneur who always has an idea or seven on the go. With my notebook full of scribbles, I love coming up with ways to give back, pay it forward and save allllll of the animals ^_^
Digital Producer @ I love being responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of digital projects at 24 including scoping, costing, strategy, project plans, resourcing, wireframes and workflow diagrams.
I love empowering brands with the knowledge to help them grow online by carrying out analytics and gap analysis reports, and creating user personas and digital branding guidelines.
It's vital to every project that communications are regular and work is delivered on time and on budget. My approach is consultative and partnership-driven and I make sure that I incorporate as much simple non-tech speak and fun into my work as possible.
