💼 Past Experience

Born and brought up in the town of Ahvaz in Iran, Mr Sajjad Ahmad started his legal practice at the age of 25, in 2006, as an appellate lawyer with the London-based law firm Goodman Daniels. In 2007, he joined the management team of his then-firm, BLA, as the group’s director and leader of the legal services industry. He has since led BLA through a number of dramatic transformations, including the launch of The BLA whisky company in 2009, and its annexation of the FTSE 100 sole future trader in 2013.Since joining BLA, Mr Sajjad Ahmad has played an instrumental role in developing the legal services industry in Iran. He has developed and oversaw a number of successful legal schemes, such as the launch of the DW Dispute Resolution Scheme in 2010, and the creation of the Iran Courts Registry in 2012. He also played a critical role in the development of the country’s economy, helping to transformation the BLA into a state-owned enterprise.Mr Sajjad Ahmad is a highly experienced lawyers and is skilled in a number of legal190 practices.
