Consultant @ I'm a technical consultant for the UK & Ireland based customers. Besides consulting I'm also delivering Liferay trainings and help with the Liferay UK community. My main expertise is in system architecture and end-to-end development. From August 2014 to Present (1 year 4 months) London, United KingdomJava Developer, Portal Consultant @ I was working in small teams where I learned from my more experienced colleagues and implemented clearly defined tasks. The implementation details were left on me. After task completion my work was reviewed. I worked on several project and where I gained experience in Java EE and Liferay portal. I became more and more independent and I was entrusted with project from design phase until realization. After gaining experience I was responsible for project architecture a realization in my senior developer position. I took initiative in various company activities to improve development process and overall code quality. Additionally to the developer position I performed Liferay consultations. I was responsible for supporting of my less experienced colleagues. I was conducting trainings and consultations for our customers and partner universities. From February 2010 to July 2014 (4 years 6 months) Software Developer @ I worked in a small agile team which was developing custom browser based information system. The system was developed for a telecom laboratory from USA. We used Python, MySQL, Apache, XSL transformation and JavaScript. My responsibilities were mainly design and implementation of presentation layer (Python, XSLT, HTML, CSS, JavaScript). From September 2009 to January 2010 (5 months) Software engineer @ I was working for Moravia IT which is an internationally known localization company. I worked on Autodesk project which main goal was to translate Autodesk products into more than 10 languages.
