Mirko Sternad's education provides him with a good understanding of logistics management. He has studied at the Faculty of Logistics University of Maribor where he gained a Mag certification in 2008. From there, he moved on to study at the Faculty of Logistics at the University of Maribor, gaining a Masters degree in Logistics Systems in 2012.As a professional, Mirko Sternad has been working in the field of logistics for some time now. He has worked for a number of companies, both large and small, in a variety of different management capacities. He is currently the Regional Manager for the Slovenian Regional Logistics Association. In this position, he leads and coordinates the work of more than thirty logistics companies within the Slovenian Regional Logistics Association.Since his move to Slovenia, Mirko Sternad has become interested in improving the readiness and effectiveness of logistics businesses. He has done a number of courses and workshops on this topic, and his work with the Slovenian Regional Logistics Association has shown that he has a good understanding of this issue.Mirko Sternad is currently finalizing his promotive studies to be a professional engineer. This will allow him to work in a consultant capacity for logistics companies in his field of expertise. He is also interested in working inorganizational research, and is currently working on a project which will allow him to collect data on this topic. He plans to use this data to improve the readiness and effectiveness of logistics businesses.
