In January 2004, Zakharia completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom. She then spent a semester in Spain working as a Research Assistant at the Instituto de Ciencias Económicas at Enerflex. From there, she returned to the United Kingdom and began her HR management certification course (SHRM-SCPRegional Human Resources Manager Middle East, Africa, Europe & CIS Industry of Management Consulting).After successfully completing her work course, Zakharia moved on to work at Enerflex as a Regional HR Manager - Middle East and Africa. Her responsibilities included managing employee data, grievance handling, and developing HR policies and practices. Additionally, she was responsible for managing projects and/or consultancies within the HR field. In December 2014, she left Enerflex to take a position as Project Manager/Consultant at *. At *, Zakharia was responsible for providing HR consulting services to foreign companies. her work with * led to her certification as a HR Manager at Tesco Corporation in January 2013. She then left Tesco Corporation to take a position as Regional Human Resources Manager - Middle East Africa Europe & CIS at Enerflex Ltd.
