Millie Behera, M.D. began her schooling as a middle school student at Loyola High School in Northwest Baltimore. Behera then attended the University at Buffalo, where she earned a B.S. invasive science in 2002. While at the University at Buffalo, Behera served as the Research Assistant Professor of Reproductive Biology and Service Stream Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, teaching at the Division of Reproductive Biology. She then completed her medical degree at the University at Buffalo in 2006 with a degree in Obstetric and Gynecology. Upon completing her medical degree, Behera completed heridency at the Albany Medical College, where she served as Chief Resident and assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Behera then completed her fellowship at the University of Michigan Hospital in 2013 with a degree in Reproductive Biology. Behera is Board Certified in Reproductive Biology and has been practicing her profession as a Medical Director & Founder at Bloom Reproductive Institute for over eight years.

Millie Behera, M.D., grew up in a family of doctors. Her father, Dr. Amir Behera, is a general physician and family practice Doctor who also has a residency in Internal Medicine in Boston, MA. Millie’s mother, Dr. Janci Behera, is a medical doctor who graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine. Millie has two sisters, Dr. Jaci Berto and Dr. Melinda Behera. Millie is the granddaughter of the late Dr. Jack Berto. Millie Behera, M.D. is the daughter of Dr. Amir Behera and Dr. Janci Behera. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 10, 1990. Millie is the granddaughter of Jack Berto, the late Director of the University of Utah School of Medicine. Millie has two sisters, Jaci Berto and Melinda Behera. Millie is the granddaughter of the late Jack Berto. Millie Behera, M.D. attended Duke University School of Medicine where she completed her undergraduate studies in Medicine in 2009. She then proceeded to study at the University of Western Ontario in London, England, where she completed her DOH training in 2014.
