Mikael Malam obtained his primary education at the age of 15 from Petterson School in Bygfield, Michigan. He then continued his education at the University of Detroit Mercy where he received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1998. For his undergraduate studies, Malam transferring to the GMard Business School in 2003 and obtaining his M.S. in 2009 in industrial marketing and operations.He is currently a Commodity buyer/Procurement Manager at Vinum from January 2006 to December 2009 and has held responsible positions within the automotive industry, most notably as Purchasing Manager at General Motors Industry of Automotive. During his previous positions, he was responsible for all aspects of the purchasing process, from bidding and sourcing to signature items and luxury models. In his previous roles, Malam has himself been quoted as saying that he loves his job because “it’s a unique opportunity to interact with customers and see product performance firsthand.” currently, Mikael Malam has his sights set on extending his skills and knowledge in the field of aviation by taking on a position as the vice president and general manager for global sales for Gaseous Gasplanes. He is a career devotee and advocate of the aviation industry and is interested in developing relationships with various airline companies in order to provide them with the best possible aviation solutions.Mikael Malam is married to his beautiful wife, Annik. They have two beautiful children,Mikael and Harper. Mikael and Annik enjoy spending time with their family and friends as well as going on Safari expeditions in Africa.
