From March 2013 to August 2017 (4 years 6 months) San Francisco Bay AreaUser Interface / Web Designer @ Castro / Upper Market Community Benefit District (CBD) Designed and developed the community organization website (first and second versions) and created CBD online branding. Launched a successful online Ambassador program that coordinated active volunteers who gave out district and tourist information to approximately 6000 visitors during the Summer of 2011. Promoted the 25th Anniversary AIDS Quilt event, which became the largest showing in SF since 1999.Results: Successfully promoted all special events and CBD functions while seeing an increase in community participation each consecutive year from the time of CBD creation. From January 2008 to December 2015 (8 years) San FranciscoIA / Web Designer @ The Women's Building Developed The Women’s Building content management system (CMS) and designed the past year Celebration of Craftswomen events site from start to finish. Setup e-commerce platform, including SSL site certificate, in turn allowing vendor application payments. Provided technical support and consultation to entire women’s building staff.Results: Increased efficiency and faster collection of vendor payments compared to previous years for the largest juried women’s crafts fair in the U.S. attended by over 10,000 individuals in 2011. From November 2006 to December 2015 (9 years 2 months) San FranciscoWeb Designer/Front-end Developer @ Looxcie Inc. Hired to build rapid prototype design for website, configure open-source content management system (CMS), and design the final front-end template and back-end user-interface. Built user video submission system and integrated e-commerce software. Worked closely with the engineering team and marketing director to achieve all platform delivery benchmarks.Results: Delivered full website re-design with better interface and end-user experience. Looxcie has positioned themselves as the most recognized mobile-connected, hands-free, wearable video cam.
