Means Industries is a manufacturer of precision stampings, assemblies, one-way clutches, clutch plates & clutch packs. The customer list at Means - Melvindale consists of both, OEM and aftermarket automotive and non-automotive companies. This customer list includes names such as, GM, Delphi, Ford, Visteon, Daimler Chrysler, Allomatic Products Corp., Lear Corp., Toyo Seat, Indak Manufacturing, Tokico, Gates Rubber, etc.. My time at Means has allowed me to have a tremendous amount of direct interaction with these customers. During my time at Means I have taken the opportunity to use a hands-on approach. From 1998 to 2001 (3 years) Quality Manager @ Horizon Technology Group My position with Horizon was as Sr. QA Manager of the Romulus Division which manufactures complex value added screw machine, cold formed & CNC parts for the automotive industry. I accepted a transfer to the Romulus division in May of 1997 with the objective of working with this team to be part of the revitalization of this division. Among my many responsibilities were the promotion, training and attainment of QS 9000 certification. From 1990 to 1998 (8 years)
