Michael Harvey’s education journey began with classical studies at the University of Chicago, where he earned his A.B. in Classical Studies in 2022. He then moved on to study economics at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, graduating with a Master of Public Policy in September 2022.After completing his graduate studies, Harvey worked in various policy workplaces, first as an economic analyst at the Chicago City Council and then as the Deputy Director of the Economic Analysis Section at the Capitol Hill Research Center. He then returned to the City Council in 2021 and served as the Mayor’s Assistant to the Director of Economic Development.In September 2022, Harvey was appointed as the Assistant Professor of Classical Studies at The Episcopal Academy in Lexington, Kentucky, where he continues to teach Classical Studies.
