Michael Casalino is a highly accomplished game industry veteran with experience in both art and management. He has worked with some of the most iconic brands in gaming, including Electronic Arts, Disney, and Scopely. His experience spans a wide range of gaming genres, from sports to action to puzzle. He is currently the CEO and Chief Creative Officer of 5518 Studios, a leading provider of digital art for the entertainment industry. In this role, he is responsible for the creative vision of the studio and the quality of its artwork. He is also the Vice President of Art at Scopely, where he oversees the art direction of all Scopely's games.
Michael has over 20 years of experience in the video game and entertainment industry. Michael is currently a professor at IADT-International Academy of Design & Technology and has been since September 2005. Michael was also a Sr. Art Director at Disney Mobile from April 2011- July 2012 where he was focused on creating a beautiful Disney Pixar Cars world and delivering an innovative experience. From November 2000- July 2001, Michael was a Texture Artist at Electronic Arts and was responsible for the textures on NASCAR, Madden, and NCAA College Football. Michael is currently the CEO and Chief Creative Officer at 5518 Studios, Inc. which is a premiere outsource art development studio based in LA and Central Europe. Michael is responsible for the Studio Art at Scopely and has been since June 2015. Prior to that, Michael was the Director of Studio Art at Disney Mobile from July 2012- June 2015.
