Mike Brady is a strategic technology executive recognized across the industry as a transformational leader who creates and delivers organizational and business visions at scale globally. His organization is delivering award-winning systems availability, strong employee engagement, and leadership of deployments of Self-Service Cloud, Big Data, DevOps and integrated Technology-as-a-Service strategies while implementing a demand-based financial model for IT through Technology Business Management (TBM). Mike was awarded a patent in Network Security in 2010 and was recognized as a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader in 2011. Recently his team received the EPA Low Carbon Emitter award, Uptime Institute Availability awards, EPA Energy Star and Leed Platinum Certification for Data Center Operations.
Mike serves as the Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Management at Kaiser Permanente. His team is comprised of over 1,900 professionals managing and operating life critical technology systems in partnership with IT, Health Plan and Care Delivery groups throughout Kaiser Permanente.
In addition to his IT leadership, Mike served as CISO during an executive search. His security team led an organization wide controls program while protecting Kaiser Permanente’s member data and brand.
Mike joined Kaiser Permanente from Fidelity Investments where he designed, implemented, and optimized infrastructure technology supporting 24 million multi-channel customers. Those high availability systems securely moved $3 trillion in assets across 30+ countries with speed and reliability.
Previously Mike was the First Vice President of Network Services at Merrill Lynch, leading their September 11th network recovery. He was recognized as one of Network World's Top-50 Network Executives.
Mike also held executive IT positions at Citicorp and General Electric and recently completed Harvard's Executive Leadership Program.

Global Chief Technology Officer @ Michael Brady has joined AIG as the company’s first Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Under Mike’s leadership, the CTO organization will include the Infrastructure, Applications Development methodology, and Architecture functions of the technology organization. As CTO, Mike will take the lead on ensuring that AIG’s technology strategy is fully capable of serving our clients and employees. He will develop AIG’s technical infrastructure vision and lead its development, and will be responsible for identifying appropriate leading edge technologies that will result in tangible benefits to all of AIG’s stakeholders. Mike will ensure that we are driving business-centric technology for all of AIG. He will also focus on developing strategic relationships with external technology partners as we define the technologies that will shape the future of the insurance industry Mike’s first priority will be to focus on immediate improvements to our performance, making sure that our employees’ work experience is as productive and free of technological obstacles as possible. Knowing that it will take some time to make substantial changes, he will focus on short-term efforts with the largest potential improvements coming from the in-depth technology analyses I mentioned in my update. Mike will also focus on making the longer-term, sustainable improvements that will be required to fully enhance our infrastructure – a critical step in our journey to becoming a company that leverages the full potential of technology. Deploy life critical Health IT systems from Epic’s EMR, ExaData analytics, Cerner labs, PDX pharmacy and Oracle’s ERP systems. Manage $1B+ board level program to deliver foundational technology, data centers capabilities and attestable controls performance. Transform into a technology service organization enabling business and care outcomes through Technology as a Service. From February 2009 to April 2015 (6 years 3 months) San Francisco Bay AreaSenior Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering @ Designed, implemented and optimized all aspects of infrastructure technology supporting over $3 Trillion in assets. Built and led a 850 person functional engineering organization across mainframe, distributed, storage, desktop and network disciplines. Created an infrastructure lifecycle roadmap enabling architectural futures through standardized stacks for application development and enhanced project deployment. From 2003 to 2009 (6 years) Greater Boston AreaFirst Vice President - Network Services @ Led a 476+ worker organization ($300MM Annual Budget) in the global delivery of network, voice and infrastructure services. Accountable for the full infrastructure lifecycle, from architecture and inception through operationalization to financial performance across a broad product and service portfolio. From September 1999 to August 2003 (4 years) Greater New York City AreaVice President Global Network Services @ Extensive achievements in identifying and implementing advanced network and network computing technologies, accelerating change, rapid global deployment, cost efficiency and strategic IT direction. Implemented a $1B global infrastructure outsourcing, converting 2,200 locations. From July 1997 to August 1999 (2 years 2 months) Manager Internetworking Technology @ Conceived Internetworking Technology department, created and operated GE’s Intranet, hosted NBC.com, led Messaging and Webmasters councils deploying global E-Mail & Intranet systems.
