💼 Past Experience

Melissa Killeen has been working in the Marketing and Public Relations field since 1997. starting at Landsman Gallery, Melissa was responsible for all aspects of marketing and public relations for the company. In January of 1997, she moved to Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission where she was responsible for all aspects of marketing for the commission. From January of 2000 to January of 2001, she was the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator for the Company. From August of 2006 to April of 2008, she was the Facilities Manager for the company. From December of 2006 to August of 2006, she worked as a Facilities Manager at The Pew Charitable Trusts.In her previous work experience, Melissa has had a responsibility for promoting businesses and organizations, helping to design and produce marketing materials, and operating and managing events. She has a thorough knowledge of public relations and marketing, and has experience working with a variety of business and organization types. Additionally, she has a strong skills in graphic design, digital marketing, and event planning.

🎓 Education

Born and raised in upstate New York, Melissa Killeen wanted to pursue an education that would allow her to make a lasting impact on the world. After earning her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in 2020, Killeen traveled to Philadelphia to complete her Masters of Philosophy degree in Organizational Dynamics at the University of Pennsylvania.After completion of her Masters of Philosophy degree, Killeen became a research fellow at the University of Pennsylvania where she continues to work as a research assistant. In her free time, Killeen enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing her creative interests.In addition to her research and writing abilities, Killeen is also an accomplished singer and musician. Killeen has released two albums as a musician, and has won several awards including a Sampler Award from the Music industry trade magazine Snooker. Killeen is also the founder and artistic director of the Philadelphia-based improv theatre company, The New Directions.Although her previous education provides her with the necessary expertise and tools to be an excellent scientist, organizer, and writer, Killeen is always looking to learn more. She is a self-starter and has a drive to constantly improve both her own work and the work of those around her. Killeen is grateful for her education and the opportunities that it has given her. With her growth in knowledge and experience, she is poised to make a lasting impact on the world.
