Prior to SpareFoot, was a senior executive at Demand Media, Inc., joining in 2006 as SVP, Finance & Treasurer and was named CFO in 2012. While at Demand Media, played an instrumental role growing the startup from less than $100 million of revenues to approximately $400 million, managing the successful IPO process during 2010 culminating in an IPO valuation of over $2 billion in January 2011, and executing a tax-free spin-off of Demand's domain name services business in August 2014.
Prior to Demand Media, was in the Media Investment Banking group of UBS Investment Bank in Los Angeles, advising corporations and investor groups on a wide range of financial and strategic alternatives ranging from M&A to debt and equity financings. Prior to UBS, was at Prime Ventures, a Santa Monica-based venture capital firm, analyzing and recommending investments in early stage companies. Before joining Prime Ventures, was in the Investment Banking group of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities in Los Angeles.
Graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Wharton School of Business and the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.S. in Economics, Finance and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics.
