The primary purpose of the research group is to advance the application and development of AI related disciplines within the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, as well as within the university in general. The job also entails lecturing Microprocessor Engineering, Digital Signal Processing and Control Systems to undergraduate students. From October 2009 to March 2013 (3 years 6 months) Biomedical Engineer\Statistician @ Job Description: Microarray data analysis using various statistical and Pattern Recognition techniques. Microarrays are used for high throughput gene expression analysis and produce expression values for the entire genome of a particular tissue sample. One of the primary aspects of the job is to carry out statistical analysis on local Gene Expression data and thus to identify genes that explain prognostic differences between various ethnic groups in the local population.
