💼 Past Experience

In 1987, Maxine Cain founded and was President of the STEM Atlanta Women, a nonprofit social services organization which provides resources and services to female underprivileged students in Atlanta, Georgia. She also served as the Foundation's Pilot in Charge from 1994-1996, and as President & CEO (1999-2003). As the President of STEM Atlanta Women, Cain led a team that developed, implemented, and operated the Community Development Lead (CDL) position at OneTen.org, which was a technology start-up company that relied heavily on online services and technologies to promote social inclusion and education. thereafter, Maxine served as the CDL for Humanitarian (L.H.D) at Philanthropist from 2001-2005, in which she also oversaw the Philanthropist's strategy for philanthropy, secretarial and administrative support to employees, and fundraising.
