Merchandise Coordinator @ I have transitioned from Customer Service Representative to the Merchandising Coordinator within SkinStore.com. I am looking forward to this new learning opportunity and am excited to continue to grow with this amazing company. I will be responsible for presenting new content on the website and working with the department to keep the website as current as possible. From August 2015 to Present (5 months) Customer Service Representative @ As Licensed Esthetician/Customer Service Representative for SkinStore.com, I aimed to provide not only comprehensive skin consultations and skincare recommendations but excellent customer service to our many customers. I handled a very high volume of calls, emails and live chat connections with customers from around the world. From September 2013 to August 2015 (2 years) Assistant Director Of Education @ As the Assistant Director of Education, I work closely with the students and educators on a daily basis. I am responsible for enrolling new students, counseling existing students and prepping senior students for graduation. I also handle disciplinary action, truancies and academic progress of all Cosmetology students. I contribute with photo shoots, school events and marketing promotions. I also act as Front Desk Supervisor, overseeing the other front desk staff during clinic floor hours. I promote the highest level of customer service and mentor the students with hands on salon management and retail sales knowledge. I also handle all higher level customer relations. From December 2012 to August 2013 (9 months) Business Relations @ I took a brief hiatus from the salon industry to gain some valuable outside sales & networking skills. I solely constructed a CRM database for the company that is still into effect today. I also provided technical and IT support when needed such as; improving the website and creating social media outlets (i.e. Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts). I also attended any and all association meetings, extracurricular training and classes that pertained to the industry. I built relationships through one on one meeting(s), cold calling, mass mailings and office drop-ins. I also orchestrated golf tournaments, trade show booth attendance and convention participation. From September 2011 to March 2012 (7 months) Sales Associate @ As one of the top selling sales associate for the largest beauty retail store in Sacramento, I constantly exceeded selling expectations and brand contests. I received regular product knowledge training, advanced education classes and seminars for just a few of the hundreds of brands available for purchase. I received copious product knowledge training for the following products: AHAVA, Acute Derm, Clarisonic, Cosmedix, Dermalogica, Jan Marini, Murad, Nuxe, Peter Thomas Roth, Propoline, Strivectin & Yonka. From July 2010 to September 2011 (1 year 3 months) Sacramento, California AreaSalon Manager @ Along with managing and scheduling a list of stylists & estheticians, I worked to hold exclusivity with two leading brands in the industry, Bumble & bumble hair care products as well as Eminence Organic skin care. I also orchestrated several popular "Second Saturday" events in the Midtown Sacramento area. From August 2009 to July 2010 (1 year) Customer Relations @ I enjoyed my time at Sacramento's leading salon and spa. Aside from general customer relations duties that included managing well over 50 employees, I was able to gain knowledge of Jan Marini, Phyto & Cosemedix skincare.
